London aparthotels

For London short-term accommodation, aparthotels are another ideal choice. These provide the best of both worlds between a hotel and serviced apartment. With kitchen facilities and hotel amenities, you can unwind after a busy day or catch up on work in a homely environment rather than a hotel room. It also means you are able to maintain healthy eating habits, which isn't easy in a hotel. Aparthotels in London also provide a sense of privacy and independence, allowing you to focus on your work while still enjoying the conveniences of a central London hotel.

Business facilities in central London

You may be visiting the London offices of your employer and have easy access to all the business resources and facilities you require. However, even large corporations may not have spare desks or meeting rooms, especially if you are a whole team setting up camp temporarily in London. Or, indeed, you might be part of an external consultancy team expected to find your own desk space and meeting rooms.

The impact of the shift to hybrid working

Following a global shift towards hybrid working, some corporations are trying to make better use of their commercial space. In essence, that often means there are no spare offices or meeting rooms available for visitors, which can impact business travellers. Even before remote or hybrid working became commonplace, many major organisations in central London already had hot-desking policies and collaborative meeting rooms. The traditional office still exists but is being increasingly replaced by the dynamic workplace where flexible office arrangements exist.

In practise that can sometimes mean that even people permanently based in a location do not have a permanently assigned workspace. When individuals or teams are temporarily based in a location that leaves little leeway to assign them a dedicated working area. As a result, coworking spaces, previously the preserve of smaller businesses, are increasingly being used by larger organisations to accommodate temporary workforces.

Technology assists many businesses to collaborate easily from different locations and aid (rather than hinder) productivity but it does have to be carefully considered when people are not working from their home environment.

We've got you covered

If employees are used to working at least some of the time from home and have developed a way of working that encourages collaboration and productivity then that can be equally well managed when based in a London serviced apartment. All of our serviced accommodation - London and elsewhere - comes with a desk and free Wi-Fi, and, more importantly, a sense of home-from-home where it’s easy to make a healthy snack or a decent cup of tea or coffee.

For when you need a change of scenery or a larger space for meetings then serviced apartments in a central location often have on site amenities for corporate travellers or are within walking distance or a short taxi hop to a choice of co-working spaces, meetings rooms and more across central London. Some of our serviced apartments in London have concierge services to help you locate the facilities you need.
