The quaint village of Lindal-in-Furness is ideally placed to offer access to the surrounding towns in the Furness peninsula of Cumbria, an attractive area in the north of England.
Four miles east of Barrow-in-Furness lies the village of Lindal-in-Furness. The area has long been significant for the mining of iron ore and the village grew up around a ‘tarn’, a small glacial lake, before the lake was filled in with mining detritus to form what is now an attractive village green.
The A590 runs through the village, linking it to nearby Ulverston to the north-east, and both Dalton-in-Furness and Barrow-in-Furness to the south-west. Although Lindal-in-Furness itself doesn’t have a train station, both Dalton and Ulverston have stations on the Furness line up to Lancaster.
Although travellers coming to use serviced apartments in Lindal-in-Furness may be taking advantage of its status as a picturesque commuter village for the larger towns nearby, Lindal does in fact have its own business park by the main road. Our own Lindal-in-Furness serviced apartments take advantage of a location close to the main route. These apartments come fully equipped and offer customers staying in our serviced apartments their own space while they are in the area.
