We are over the moon to welcome to Situ the very experienced and quite lovely Steph Ellis, who joins us to head up and manage our operational teams.
Previously at Portland Brown and before that knee-deep in the world of property, Steph has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in the serviced apartment and corporate housing sector. Combine this with her deeply rooted passion for focusing on developing and enhancing the customer journey at every step of the process, and you can see why we are excited to have Steph on board.
Steph was attracted by the passion and ambition of the business and the quest to innovate and explore new ways of doing things. Steph says, “Everyone is so friendly and receptive to feedback and to suggestions for tweaking and making some of the operational processes smoother. There’s a real buzz and positive vibe around the business, and the sense of team spirit and support for each other is very real and palpable.”
Steph has joined at an incredibly busy time, with enquiry volumes through the roof and with some locations proving a little challenging in terms of locating supply. Luckily for us, Steph is unfazed by this and happy to spin all the plates from day one. That’s at the same time as getting to know us all, rolling up her sleeves to help – and even better news – making the tea as well!
We love her straightforward philosophy: “Get it absolutely right for the guest, the person staying in the accommodation, and the person who has made the booking. The booker or travel manager will be more than happy – and guess what – will place even more business with us.” You are so right Steph. It’s not rocket science, yet this aligns exactly with our core purpose, to make finding and booking serviced accommodation effortless.
